The house
An hour from Paris, the gates of Bellevue close behind you and the city falls away. Dinner is laid in the orangerie, lit entirely by candelabra, the forest pressing dark against tall windows. Jean-Baptiste pours from the cellar his grandfather laid down and tells stories he probably shouldn't.
