Un dîner aux chandelles

The house
Behind an unmarked porte cochère in the Marais lies a courtyard most Parisians walk past without a glance. Climb the worn stone staircase and you enter a world of gilt mirrors, worn velvet and the smell of beeswax candles. Hélène receives twelve guests at her own table — no staff, no ceremony, just the house as it has lived for a century.
Your host
Comtesse Hélène de Saint-Germain
Hélène has kept the family hôtel particulier alive for three generations. She cooks from her grandmother's handwritten recipe book and never serves the same menu twice.
What the evening includes
- Four-course seasonal dinner
- Natural wines from the Loire
- Digestif in the library
- The story of the house, told by Hélène
